Newman Not Following Instructions Breaking the law of teaching, by being disobedient and unfaith ful, creates many very dangerous hazards. These difficulties al ways arise when the employee does not carry out instructions to the best of his ability, which causes serious accidents, lost time and in some cases even death. Some months ago, an em ployee received a very small scratch on his hand. He did not report for First Aid immediately after the injury. Several days la ter infection set in. Then he re ported to his foreman and the nurse, and was given proper in structions to carry out. He failed to carry out these instruc tions in the treatment of the in jury, and as a result, had to be taken to the hospital. This re sulted in several weeks of lost time from work, and a big hos pital bill, all of which would have been unnecessary and could have been avoided had he followed in structions in the beginning. by carrying OUT THE ABOVE MENTIONED, YOU CAN KEEP THIS RAT PROM EATING AWAY YOUR PAY CHECK AND YOUR EARNING CAPACITY. IF YOUR MEANS OF LIVELIHOOD IS DES TROYED, HOW WOULD IT AFFECT YOUR HOME? Ignored Rules Disobeyed orders and dis regard for rules are due to “bull - headedness” and lazi ness, and usually result in serious injury or loss of life. Neg lected rules do not convey friend liness between employer and em ployee, and they destroy morale. They tend to create disobedience that sometimes leads to disaster. Abide by the rules.
